Event Description
The 2022 AK Bar Belles is a single day, women’s, teams of two CrossFit competition. The event will be held on Saturday July 23rd in Palmer, Alaska at the MTA Events Center (1317 S. Kerry Weiland Ct, Palmer). There will be an initial offering of 20 teams per division; RX, Intermediate, Scaled, Teens (13-17), and Masters (50+).
This event will be a full day event, running from roughly 7:30am – 8:00pm depending on total registration numbers. We have a ton of fun planned to make this an exciting and entertaining day for all athletes and spectators . With this venue we have 5x the amount of space to spread out and get comfy, athletes will have access to locker rooms and showers if they desire, and we are excited to announce that we will have a variety of food and merchandise vendors on site for you to enjoy throughout the day.
Registration will open on 4/1/22 at 8am AKST and close on 5/15/22. We reserve the right to redistribute teams and divisions as needed and in the best interest of our competition. If any division doesn’t have a minimum of 6 teams registered, we will contact those registered to determine wether they’d like a refund or to transfer to an applicable division.
RX, Intermediate, and Scaled teams will have four main events and one floater event.
Registration will cost $150/team.
Teens and Masters teams will have three main events and one floater.
Registration will cost $120/team.

At registration, one member will register your two team members and will need to have the following information:
-a team name
-First & Last names for both athletes
-email address for both athletes
-shirt sizes for both athletes.
(Shirts will be a women’s racerback tank top this year of whatever brand we can find in stock at the time of our order.)
All workouts will be released prior to the beginning of the competition, along with all pertinent details in an athlete handbook that will be emailed to all athletes and volunteers.

OH yea, and guess what…. this year we are also excited to announce a partnership with Strongman Corp where we will be helping launch their first local strongman competition. This event will be running simultaneously to ours and will provide another level of entertainment for spectators and athletes to enjoy. It’s going to be an AWESOME day!
